Polish Night

Tuesday, 29th January

An interesting night with lots of new tastes for us. There were some unusual dishes that looked strange but tasted delicious.

Irish Night

Terrific. One of our best nights. The food was very tasty and there was lots of debate around the table about cyclists!

One of our favourite themes that once again did not disappoint us. It was full of colourful dishes with delicate and subtle flavours.

Roman Feast

Wednesday, 16th July

Venue: Hitchcock's Vegetarian Restaurant

Attendence: 13

Bruce and Jane really conjured up a terrific feast using all their resources to find what a vegan Roman would have eaten (probably!).

They even made a sosmix pig as a treat. The special pizza they made was also very good as was the crumble I had for dessert.

Buddhist Feast

Tuesday, 12th August

Venue: Hitchcock's Vegetarian Restaurant

Attendence: 12

We welcomed a party of 4 new people (Diane if you are reading this please get in touch!). The food was delightful with several tofu dishes which had the tofu done exactly how they manage to do at the better oriental restaurants (and not when I do it!).

Cuban Night

Thursday, 25th September

Venue: Hitchcock's Vegetarian Restaurant

Attendence: 14

ERVegans were joined at the restaurant by a friend who was holding a fund raising event so it was busy. However, there was plenty of conversation going on between everyone on our table and the many others in the restaurant that we know.

Food was great, they even had Cuban chips! There was a particularly nice bean dish in a very thick sauce that I enjoyed very much.
