We were in the new bit of Hitchcock's for the Lebanese night and a very nice part of the restaurant it was too. Although we only took 12 Hitchcock's was full to capacity (I guess about 100 with the new bit open) and a delightful time was had by all.
Especially good was the vegan wine Bruce had got in. Fantastic was the only way to describe it.

Cornish Night
Tuesday, 12th July
Venue: Hitchcock's Vegetarian Restaurant
Attendence: 24
Fantastic night made even more special by the celebration of Sally’s birthday (no age clues!). The food was really good. Now I know its always nice at Hitchcock’s and in all honesty I have never had a poor meal there. Some nights are not quite to my liking but generally the food is appealing to me. However Cornish night was extra special. Although the food was not quite as colourful as some of our other themes the taste was very pleasing, maybe because there is nothing like the food you were brought up on. Simple but very sattisfying.
My favourite was there (mushroom pie) along with some classic vegetable dishes, sheppards pie and a special Cornish sausage all done in the vegan way of course. Fortunately I saved myself for the chocolate cake and Swedish Glace ice cream.
We had several new younger members come along which not only brightened up the night but gives us hope that the future of ERVegans is sound. In addition we were joined by 4 members of Leeds Veg*ns and 4 from North Lincolnshire Veg*ns making it a very enjoyable night
